" There are people you meet and make impacts in your life and are apart of you for a life time.  When I first met Phyllis, she welcomed me with open arms and never judged me.  She has always given guidance and wisdom that has shifted many views I have in life. Phyllis has modeled what happens when you include prayer and trust in your life and her presence has helped instill confidence in mine, and that you shall overcome new journeys. She allowed me to better understand my relationship by using patience and communication  as well as my role as a father which has helped me tremendously. When I was an expecting parent she told me to don’t be afraid to hold my child and not to let others influence how I parent and these teachings has helped me love my son more vulnerably. As a new parent I turn on to these memories of this conversation to get me through my journey. Phyllis is the epitome of unselfishness and always willing to help and I will forever be grateful to how she has impacted my life as well as my family forever. I first met Phyllis in the beginning stages of my relationship years ago, and as time went on she continues to be  apart of our life.  My relationship  with my girlfriend has grown and today we have our son.  I remember being scared going into parenthood and without asking, knowing how scared we were, she offered reassurance and techniques that has gotten us through many months of parenthood.
